Why this works
From Monday, December 23, WORKDAY skips the three closed days from Christmas Eve on, the weekend and New Year's Day. The five working days are Dec 27, Dec 30, Dec 31, Jan 2 and Jan 3, so the order arrives on Friday, Jan 3, 2025.
Common mistake: Adding the closed days to B2 by hand, like WORKDAY(A2,B2+4). It is only right until the order date moves.
The answer
- C2
=WORKDAY(1A2,2B2,3E2:E5)
In plain words: The date 2the number of working days in B2 after 1the order date in A2, 3skipping the closed days in E2:E5.
