Weekdays only
PremiumDeliveries only go out Monday to Friday. Write the custom validation rule for B2 in C2. With 2 as the second argument, WEEKDAY counts Monday as 1, so a weekday is less than 6.

Why this works
Nov 2, 2026 is a Monday, so WEEKDAY(B2,2) is 1 and the test is TRUE. Excel accepts the date.
In Excel, the rule goes under Data > Data Validation > Allow: Custom. Excel accepts what someone types when the formula is TRUE and blocks it when it is FALSE, so a Saturday is refused.
Common mistake: Leaving out the 2. WEEKDAY then counts Sunday as 1 and Saturday as 7, and the rule lets Sunday through.
The answer
- C2
=WEEKDAY(B2,2)<6
