Why this works
A2&"."&B2&"@northwind.com" gives "Anna.Berg@northwind.com". LOWER around the whole thing turns every letter small, so the address is the same however the names were typed.
Common mistake: Typing the domain without quotes. Everything in a formula that is not a cell, number or function has to be text in quotes.
The answer
- C2
=LOWER(A2&"."&B2&"@northwind.com")
