Why this works
EOMONTH(A2,0) is Mar 31, 2024, the last day of the signing month. The day after the last day of a month is always the first of the next one, so +1 gives Apr 1, 2024 for any date in March.
Common mistake: Using EDATE(A2,1). That gives Apr 15, a month later on the same day, not the first of the month.
The answer
- B2
=EOMONTH(A2,0)+1
=EOMONTH(A2,0)+1 takes the last day of A2's month and adds one day.
