Closes the active Excel window and quits Excel when it is the last one. On a Mac, Cmd+Q quits Excel with every workbook in it. If a workbook has changes you haven't saved, Excel asks first. In a browser, Alt+F4 closes the browser window, so practice it in Excel itself.
Your browser keeps this combination for itself, so we explain it here but can't drill it in the page.
