Cookie Policy
The short version
We only use cookies the site needs to work, such as the one that keeps you signed in. Our analytics use no cookies, and there are no ads or trackers from other sites. Strictly necessary cookies don't need consent, which is why you don't see a cookie banner.
Cookies we set
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
nuxt-session | Keeps you signed in. Its contents are encrypted | 60 days |
nuxt-auth-state, nuxt-auth-pkce, nuxt-auth-nonce | Protect Google sign-in against forged requests | During sign-in only |
auth_next, auth_marketing | Remember the page you came from and your choice about practice tips by email while you sign in with Google | 10 minutes |
Cloudflare, which protects the site from attacks, may set the __cf_bm cookie to tell people from bots. It lasts 30 minutes and is used for nothing else.
What we save in your browser
Without an account, we save your progress in your browser's local storage on your own device. It stays on your device and only reaches us if you create an account.
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
sheetgym.progress.v1 | Your lesson progress when you are not signed in | Until you create an account or clear your browser data |
sheetgym.speedrun.v1 | Your best times in the shortcut drills | Until you clear your browser data |
Analytics without cookies
We use OpenPanel to see how the site and its lessons are used. OpenPanel sets no cookies and saves nothing in your browser. Visits are counted with an anonymous ID that is calculated from your IP address and browser and changes every day. Your IP address is not stored. Read more in our privacy policy.
Cookies from others
When you pay, you do it on Polar's checkout page, and when you sign in with Google, you do it at Google. Those sites set their own cookies under their own rules: see Polar's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
How to delete cookies
You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser's settings. Deleting nuxt-session signs you out. Clearing local storage without an account deletes your progress.
