Week numbers and weekends practice exercises

Number the weeks the way calendars in Europe do, tell weekends from weekdays and find the Monday that starts a date's week.

  1. 1Week numbers with ISOWEEKNUMIn B2, find the ISO week number of the delivery date in A2, the week number used on calendars in Europe, with ISOWEEKNUM.
  2. 2Weekend or weekdayPremiumIn B2, show "Weekend" if the date in A2 falls on a Saturday or Sunday and "Weekday" if not. With WEEKDAY(A2,2), Monday is 1, so the weekend is anything over 5.
  3. 3The Monday that starts the weekPremiumIn B2, find the Monday of the week the order date in A2 falls in. Go back as many days as WEEKDAY(A2,2) says, then forward one: A2-WEEKDAY(A2,2)+1.
