# **Group rows or columns**

Alt+Shift+Right

Groups the selected rows or columns, so you can collapse them with the minus button in the margin and expand them again with the plus button. With only some cells selected, Excel asks whether to group rows or columns. Groups are a tidier way than hiding to fold away detail in a report.
