# **The OR function**

Returns TRUE when at least one condition is TRUE.

## **Syntax**

```
OR(logical1, [logical2], ...)
```

<dl><dt>**logical1 **</dt>
<dd>The first condition.</dd>
<dt>**logical2 **(optional)</dt>
<dd>More conditions, up to 255.</dd></dl>

## **Examples**

C1`=OR(<sup>1</sup>A2<50,<sup>2</sup>A2>60)`

|  | A | B | C |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | Score |  | **TRUE** |
| 2 | 62 |  | |

**In plain words:** TRUE when <sup>1</sup>the score in A2 is below 50 or <sup>2</sup>above 60.

C1=OR(A2<50,A2>90)
