# **The AND function**

Returns TRUE only when every condition is TRUE. Usually used as the test inside IF.

AND(

## **Syntax**

```
AND(logical1, [logical2], ...)
```

<dl><dt>**logical1 **</dt>
<dd>The first condition.</dd>
<dt>**logical2 **(optional)</dt>
<dd>More conditions, up to 255.</dd></dl>

## **Examples**

C1`=AND(<sup>1</sup>A2>=50,<sup>2</sup>A2<=100)`

| 1 | Score |  | **TRUE** |
| 2 | 62 |  | |

**In plain words:** TRUE when <sup>1</sup>the score in A2 is at least 50 and <sup>2</sup>it is at most 100.
